The chef is pictured with a ceramic lidded terrine showing ‘Pate Tivollier aux Foies Gras & de Canards aux Truffes du Perigord, Toulouse’. Books by Careme and Brillat Savarin at his feet. Good condition with some wear and marks evident on the margin and outer edges. The artist was Ramon Casas Y Carbo [1866 – 1932]. Size 60cm x 40cm |
